The blog is so dead and the tagboard is full of advertisements o_o

Anyway, I'm sorry I have to this because I have to hand in the form on Monday (kinda rush).

We are supposed to sign up for 1 game each for Category A and B which will be played on August 6th (National Day Celebrations). As we don't have time to discuss this on class, the last solution is to do it online by voting and drawing lots.

Please vote by doing the survey below by 4pm tomorrow and I will then post up the people (by drawing lots) who will be playing the game(s). After posting up, please sms me if there are any violent objections on the allocation. Thanks! =)

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5CRSNJ8

[Update: Boon Hao, Shao Jie, Ella and Jeslin had volunteered to play street basketball in Category A. You can also volunteer as a group so that things are simpler =D]

[Update: For Category B, most chose Handball, so the 5 players will be Mun Wai, Yuan Lin, Bernard, Brenda, Shaun + Reserves Shermaine and Darel]

[UPDATE: Category A - Darel, Julia, Yuan Lin, Reserve Bernard .... Category B - Boon Hao, Shao Jie, Ella, Jeslin, Brenda, Reserve Shaun and Mun Wai]

Game Instructions:
--------------------
Move It - A game which does not require much strength nor stamina. It is a game whereby 2 opposing teams each try to get a member through a series of chairs. This game is highly dependent on agility in moving from chair to char in a seating position as well as luck as the game "Scissors-Paper-Stone" will be used to determine your progress.

Human Foosball - A remake of Table Soccer, except now players themselves will be the ones on the playing field to control the ball directly with their legs to attack as well as defend.

_____________________________
I won't be playing in the games because I will be in Operation: S.G. I know no one would want to volunteer so I will just take part and find someone as the 2nd participant... (Unless you want to volunteer =P)

Operation: S.G. - A mission will be given to 2 students per class. The students participating will be given a small sheet of paper with questions regarding National Education. The answers to the questions can be found in various part of the school through information posters etc. Students also make use of their general knowledge, the Internet, or to work in teams to hunt the answers down.

Hey Guys!

Just checking when are you guys free for Learning Journey which we are only required to do 1 in 2 years of JC. Please show your enthusiasm no matter how bored it is - get it over and done with LOL!

Ok here's the plan,

1. Get to Sustainable Singapore Gallery in Marina Barrage

2. After that, reflection writing - Just crap it out [Takes roughly less than 5 mins].

3.Don't leave for own activities yet cause we got to take photos to show we really are there - Meaning class photo! :D

4. Pinic at nearby place with good scenery near Marina Bay and IR

OR

4. Get to Marina Square, Suntec City, Kallang Leisure Park [Nearby] for lunch [MOF,Food courts,Fish & Co., New York New York...] , entertainment [Karaoke,Cinema,Shopping...] and etc...

How to get there?

Like any other outing... Research on how to go have to be done LOL. So here's the result.

Marina Barrage

Address: 8 Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore 018951

From 3 August 2009, SBS 400 will be added to the shuttle service between Marina Bay MRT Station and Marina Barrage. The schedule for the buses will also be revised. Please refer to the details below.

When you get out of the MRT Station of Marina Bay, turn either left or right and there will be the bus number 400 and also the shutter bus to Marina Barrage. We'll meet at Marina Bay MRT like usual. Below is the map of which Bus stop and where we alight and board.

We board the buses, 400 or the shutter at Bustop A and alight at Bustop B

Don't worry if we get lost, I know the area pretty alright :)

What we're doing there?

Visiting the...

Sustainable Singapore Gallery

From Mondays to Fridays: 9.00am - 6.00pm (Closed on Tuesdays)
Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays: 10.00am - 9.00pm

Preferred date would be a weekday cause other forms of entertainment will be cheaper :)

I have to book timing for the tour around Marina Barrage and also confirm with the school - submitting proposal to NE teacher - so please confirm with me quickly.

I thank you for your active participation before hand. Those who wants to request another date. Do tell me on msn or msg my phone otherwise you will have to do LJ with another class.

I hope it'll be a super fun day! Looking forward to it :D
